Following his Zoology degree at the University of Nottingham, James ventured into the Mexican jungle and coral reefs to work with Operation Wallacea in 2022. It was here that he truly discovered his passion for all things ocean-related, leading him to pursue an MSc in Marine Vertebrate Ecology and Conservation at the University of Exeter.
Putting his training into practice, James worked as a Divemaster in Cornwall, where he developed a great interest in sharks, rays, and reef ecology. He is now thrilled to be joining the Marine Croatia team for the 2025 season.
Outside of the water, James is a keen hockey player and enjoys salsa dancing whenever he gets the chance.
