Guide to the Opwall Portal - Registering

The Opwall Portal is used to submit to us all the information we need to collect from you for your upcoming expedition. There’s a large variety of things we need, and it does vary from person to person depending on which expedition you’re booked onto, and whether you’re school student, university student, teacher or staff member. You can also use the portal to make payments towards your expedition.

Info we need

  • Personal details, eg full name, address, birth date, passport information
  • Medical information, eg your current and past health issues
  • Your flight information
  • Completion of a PADI medical form (marine volunteers only)
  • Parental consent (for school students only)

Registering

In order to register for the Opwall portal we need to have added your email address to our system – this normally happens when we book you onto an expedition. Only one email address is relevant to each account.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive an email that will let you set a password to your account. Please note that the link in the email only lasts 24 hours – if you don’t set a password during that time, you need to register again.

  • School Students

    Register using the email address that got submitted to us by the school on the booking form.

    Please note: It’s important that you have a separate account to your parents/guardians. When you login please ensure that it is your own name in the top right hand corner.

  • Parent/Guardian

    Register using the email address that got submitted to us by the school on the booking form.

    Alternatively, your dependent can also add additional parent/guardian accounts through the “Dependants” section of a student account.

    Please note: It’s important that you have a separate account to your dependants. When you login please ensure that it is your own name in the top right hand corner.

  • University Students

    Register using the email address you received your confirmation email to.

  • Staff

    Register using the email address you received your contract email to.

Frequently Asked Questions about Registering

I didn't get a registration email

Sometimes the email can take up to 30 minutes to be received. If you have nothing after that time, the first thing to do is check your junk/spam folder on your email account. If there is still nothing, it is possible that you’ve not received the email.

Unfortunately this does sometimes happen – particularly with school email addresses where the security settings are very strict. Please email portal@opwall.com for assistance.

I got an error asking me to contact portal@opwall.com

There are a couple of issues that cause an error in registration, for example if your record is duplicated on our system. Please email portal@opwall.com for assistance and include in the email the error message.
