Isabelle grew up with a strong curiosity for the natural world and a desire to work outdoors. After nearly ten years managing international projects in the aeronautics industry, she decided to change course and pursue a career in conservation. She earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Science at the University of Edinburgh and went on to work in desert ecology, marine conservation, and sustainable development projects around the world.
Isabelle joined Operation Wallacea in 2018, managing the marine research site in Croatia, and now helps connect students and volunteers with meaningful, hands-on research experiences. She is passionate about supporting the next generation of conservationists while working alongside local partners to protect their natural environments.
