Matsedroy is our remote satellite camp. It is reached by trekking 2 hours from Mariarano camp and is situated right in front of a large beautiful lake, offering stunning views. This camp site is a favourite with most who visit it, with its amazing views, opportunity for endless bird watching and its relaxed atmosphere. The camp site is set up very similar to that of Mariarano camp, with shared expedition tents, eco-friendly facilities and bucket showers. Staying at this camp means also living in close proximity with the newly described wolf spider “Ocyale ghostii”! This camp blends comfort with an immersive field experience in Madagascar’s wild landscapes!
