Autumn Promotional Roles

Had the best summer ever and looking to spread the word of Opwall to others, and in return get free Opwall merchandise and a money off a 2024 expedition, then find out more about the roles we have available below:

  • Group Leader

As a group leader you do need to be currently studying at a university. Your main responsibilities would include popping up posters round the university (if possible), contacting lecturers about publicising the upcoming talks in their lectures, contacting relevant departments to send an email to undergraduates, speaking to relevant clubs and societies to help promote, posting on social media and just generally spreading the word. You will also be asked to help out the universities career fair if Opwall is attending, and will need to provide regular feedback to the Opwall team on the status of promotion.

As a group leader you have the opportunity to earn a huge discount off an expedition next year plus you get a free Opwall hoodie, but there is only one role per university on a first come first serve basis, so if you are interested you had better get in there quick!

  • Promotional Person

You do not need to be at university to fulfil this role. It has less responsibility than the group leader but you still get £100 off an expedition for next year if you want to join us in the field, and a free Opwall t-shirt. Your main responsibilities will vary depending on whether you are a current university student or not but will usually include popping up posters round the university (if possible), displaying electronic promotional material around the university, sharing information on your personal social media and relevant social media groups including the universities clubs and societies, and generally spreading the word!

  • Post Graduate Role

As a post graduate role you do need to be currently studying at a university in a post graduate position. The role is like a promotional person however using your higher position within the university to access a further reach of students and staff. It is a paid position in which you can earn up to £125 plus a bonus depending on the number of students that attend a main presentation.
