Experience the rainforest from a new level by climbing high into the tropical canopy alongside our qualified instructors.
The rainforest canopy is one of our planet’s final frontiers: a precious treasure trove of biodiversity that remains largely unexplored. 40% of all life on earth lives up there, so why not take a look for yourself?
Places are offered on a first come basis and bookings for the 2023 season are now being taken!
School groups, university volunteers, scientists and expedition staff are all welcome to join us. You can book onto the course via the Opwall shop using the link below, once we have received payment we will get in touch regarding a booking form.
The training costs £110 GBP per person for UK bookings, and $170 USD pp for international bookings. We kindly request that individuals (such as Uni Vols / OW staff) book separately and that school’s book & pay as a group.
Thank you and we look forward to meeting you in the canopy!
Canopy Access has been offering rope training for expeditions and film crews since 1999 and has been working closely with Operation Wallacea since 2006. We’ve been responsible for the tree-top safety of thousands of climbers of all abilities over the past two decades, including numerous high profile TV presenters such as Sir David Attenborough. In addition to working in close partnership with Operation Wallacea we also work regularly with BBC, National Geographic, Netflix, and Discovery.
All of our climbing instructors are highly qualified, extremely experienced, passionate about the forest canopy and very nice people, so you can rest assured that you’ll be in very good hands during your climbing adventure!
