I have absolutely loved my time in Honduras, it has been an amazing experience for me, especially considering that until now I have never been on a plane or left Europe. The main thing that I’ve loved here is seeing how many species of plants and animals there are and meeting all of the lovely staff and students from around the world. My favorite survey has been the herpetofauna river survey that we did on our second night, we saw so many frogs and lizards and it was amazing to help with surveying them.

Another highlight of my time here has been the canopy access experience that I signed onto. The canopy access allowed me to learn something new and challenge myself and the view of the forest from above was amazing. The hike to the satellite camp in the middle of the week was another great chance to explore the forest and challenge myself and I loved it.

My time in Honduras is definitely something I will never forget.
