Emily first got involved with Opwall in 2016 after joining a two-week expedition to South Africa. She began studying Philosophy and Politics at university but quickly realised she wanted to pursue a career in the conservation sector after being positively impacted by her expedition. She now studies Wildlife Conservation at Nottingham Trent University and is undertaking a placement year with Opwall. Since joining us in the office she is working with the university tour team, representing Opwall at careers fairs and running our social media pages. Outside of work, Emily expresses her passion for the environment by writing her own online blog, Eco-Emily and hopes to work in the environmental journalism and education sector after university.
