The camp is reached by a long boat ride down the Lesan River (1hour). Accommodation will either be in tents under tarpaulins shelters and on staging that keeps the tents off the floor, or hammocks with mosquito nets, underneath tarpaulin. On site there are sit down toilets and mandis (tubs of water that you scoop out and wash yourself with). Lectures will be held in camp, and there is also a central building where the data from the surveys will be entered. Meals will be taken in a tarpaulin covered area with views out over the river and forests.
