For the second half of the week on the Galapagos Islands, students will be based at a comfortable hostel in the capital city of San Cristobal Island, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. This town is very small, safe, and walkable, with nearby beaches covered in sea lions, which we will visit and survey throughout the week. From here, students will have the opportunity to dive and snorkel, explore the Galapagos National Park, and visit a local scientific research station. Students will share dorm rooms with flushing toilets and showers. All meals will be served at the hotel or during activities and students will have an opportunity to explore the port on their final day.

Puerto Baquerizo Moreno is a sub location to Galapagos
