The Operation Wallacea Trust (Indonesia) is administering a World Bank funded project to increase the awareness of government departments in SE Sulawesi to environmental issues.  The objective of the project is for rural villages to benefit from better governance and more equitable access to natural resources. The project which started in November 2007 and concentrates on 4 Kecamatan areas of SE Sulawesi
