Honduras Research Programme

The Operation Wallacea project in Honduras is producing one of the largest biodiversity assessment datasets in the Americas. Our teams will be collecting data on a range of species with a view to ultimately securing the long term protection for both forest and marine areas of vital conservation importance.

The research plans for  the 2010 Cusuco National Park and the Marine Research Sites give a good indication of the activities. You can get a good indication of the data sets and work completed in previous seasons by clicking on the reports for Cusuco, Cayos Cochinos Islands, Utila and northern Honduran coast.
